UMD     DETS





Adam Kelley joins Distance Education Technology and Services(DETS)as the new IT Engineer, a position which includes the maintenance of the IT System Infrastructure, Web Servers and Live Web Collaboration Platform.

Kelley brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Over the past 10 years, he was the lead technology coordinator for the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) at the University of Maryland where he designed and installed their computer network and multiple video distance learning systems.

Along with many industry certifications and his practical experience from his work at JPSM, Kelley’s was awarded the Outstanding Employee of the Year from the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences in 2002.

Kelley will help DETS to continue their mission of providing convenient, flexible access to high quality, course materials through technology.
