Major A/V equipment manufacturer taps DETS for input on new products
Extron Electronics is convening an exclusive group of college and university technology leaders to participate in their 2015 Technical Advisory Committee meeting in October. Marty Ronning, Assistant Director, DETS has been invited to join this prestigious committee. This event is an engaging experience involving Extron’s Product Development Engineers and other technologists. During the T.A.C. meetings, he will have the opportunity to participate in and influence the development of Extron’s products through the sharing of ideas, experiences and opinions. His personal experience, specifically as it relates to campus AV design projects and support, is important and by getting involved with the Extron T.A.C., he’ll help provide stimulus on future product offerings as well as key features of those products. The benefit to the A. James Clark School is not just to help share in the design of the next generation Extron products but also to gain key insights into the future of Campus A/V Technologies from peers working at other institutions.
